Blessed with the third largest energy reserves on the planet (178 billion barrels of recoverable oil and 32 billion tons of recoverable coal), Alberta is the richest province in Canada and the envy of the world. In the decades ahead, improved oil recovery technologies and new clean coal-burning processes will greatly increase these reserves and stretch their life for a long time into the future. Alberta’s energy resources belong to Albertans: we cannot let anybody shut them in, let alone take them away from us. If one day new sources of energy will become reliable and commercially available, then they can be inserted into the economic pipeline in competition with oil, natural gas and coal. Demonizing and shutting down present sources of energy before having a proven, abundant, and economic replacement is equivalent to cutting the bridges behind us, a foolish and self-destructing initiative.

The Provincial Government should start fighting the climate change obsession which is engulfing Canada today. We are facing a perverse ideology that

spreads misinformation for the only purpose of demising our economy in the name of “saving the planet”. The planet will not be lost because of CO2, but because of wars, pestilence, depletion of resources, poverty, famine and many other causes. Alberta is facing economic warfare from inside and outside Canada. No other responsible nation would tolerate this kind of warfare against one of their states or regions without strong protests or some kind of counteraction. Scaremongering by using terms like “climate crisis, emergency, apocalypse, catastrophe, global meltdown, climate suicide, etc.” is the preferred tool to coerce into submission the scientifically illiterate and gullible section of the Canadian population. Allowing and encouraging school children to skip classes to go and demand “action against climate change” is unethical, but terrorizing them with lies like “choking in CO2” and “drowning in rising sea levels” is a criminal act which should not be allowed. Governments cannot influence climate change. The only “action” they can take is clobbering taxpayers with carbon taxes that will increase up to and beyond the citizens’ ability to pay. The idea that, through carbon taxes and regulation, governments can create an idyllic climate and mitigate floods, fires and hurricanes throughout the world is deceptive, irrational, and unsupported by scientific evidence.

Fight Trudeau tooth and nail on this. We remember the devastation caused by his twit of a father. Having Trudeau as a leader is daily punishment. He’s always up to something stupid, corrupt, underhanded, absurd, and he is NEVER held accountable for his miserable failings. It’s just one scandal after another with him.

Keep strong, Danielle. Canada literally depends on your straight forward approach to dealing with his utter nonsense. He’s totally inept. Don’t let him beat you at anything.
