Equalization has to abolished, it is an unfare program. Where Provinces such as Quebec have the lowest overtime work hours, limited business hours which overall means less GDP. Alberta should consider separating, if this program doesn’t change.

If you want my support there are things you will need to do to keep it. Cancelling the carbon tax is first , then ensuring all provinces and territories are treated eqauly. These are deal breakers for me. Brian Heisler

Pierre, you need to take charge of this country we do not have to support Quebec or Ontario anymore.

If equalization formula is not restructured then it remains totally unfair to Western Canada, especially Alberta and Saskatchewan who pay the largest portion based on a per capita basis. Most of the equalization payments from these two provinces are tied to oil & gas ( energy ) but Quebecs massive hydro is not subject to the formula. Why is Quebec receiving special treatment and why are they not developing its large oil & gas industry? Leaving the formula the same will only serve to divide the country and further promote the movement of Alberta separation. Albertans are not against helping other provinces but for years we feel taken advantage of. A Prime Minister must be a leader for all Canadians on an equal bases across the board.

If Mr Poilievre can’t treat his own province fairly, I don’t know why Alberta stays in this Country! I have never thought this before because I love Canada. Trudeau has made me really dislike Quebec and Ontario and the control they seem to demand. If Alberta were to be the 51st state that would not be the worst thing.
