There's been a lot of discussion in the last few months about the creation of an Alberta Pension Plan - and we've been working hard to arm Albertans with the facts!
Project Confederation and the Alberta Institute have held a series of virtual town halls over the last few months, with the aim of providing you with the necessary information and insights you need to be informed on the topic.
Now, the government is wrapping up their formal engagement, and we want to help Albertans have their voices heard.
To that end, we're hosting a virtual Government Engagement Workshop, to walk you through the government's feedback process.
We'll be filling out the "Alberta Pension Plan Public Engagement Panel Workbook" together, and answering any questions you might have while doing so.
There are two prerequisites for this session - we kindly ask that, if you were not able to attend our earlier sessions, you watch our Alberta Pension Plan 101 presentation here, and our Alberta Pension Plan 201 presentation here, before attending this event.
This will ensure that everyone is on the same page, so that we can spend our time navigating the feedback process instead of dealing with the basics.
We're hosting these (free) events online so that it's quick and easy for busy Albertans to attend, regardless of where they are in the province.
To register for this virtual event, simply fill in your contact details on this page and click Send RSVP, and you will be provided with the Zoom event details and link.
If you have any technical difficulties with the registration process, please email [email protected]
